Solar Flight Inc. specializes in the design, manufacture, and testing of aircraft with particular expertise in advanced materials, lightweight structures, and the integration of solar power systems in aircraft. With decades of experience in the workshop and in the sky, Solar Flight has brought aircraft from the concept phase through flight testing many times.
Solar Flight's first airplane, the Sunseeker I, made the first solar powered crossing of America in 1990. In 2009, new records were set with the Sunseeker II, as well as the completing the first ever solar powered crossing of the Alps and a tour of Europe. The Sunseeker aircraft have logged more time than the combination of every other solar powered airplane in the world. 
Today Solar Flight continues to raise the bar for solar powered aircraft with the Sunseeker Duo. The Duo is the first solar powered airplane with a passenger seat and the highest performing solar powered airplane ever flown.
