The SOSystems team originally set out to create a revolutionary advanced-treatment septic system that outperformed all the competition. After creating the technology, and overcoming the challenges of designing manufacturing processes through COVID, the SOSystems team was stymied by the glacially slow pace of local permitting.

Back at the drawing board, SOSystems partnered with NavLabs to build a software platform that could handle design, permitting, installation of LooLoop. Upon seeing the demo of a full workflow to upgrade septic systems, County Regulators were excited about an unexpected aspect. “Can you build this for our general permitting?”

SOSystems rapidly redirected efforts to build exactly what the overburdened staff needed: automated regulatory compliance.
