The South Florida Hospital & Healthcare Association began in 1944 with 7 hospitals.  The current mission is "As a regional healthcare provider association, the SFHHA seeks to be an advocate, facilitator and educator for our members, and a voice for improving the health status of the community."  We seek to: advocate the interests and encourage involvement of member organizations in communication to the public, to elected and government officials, and to the business community; create cost effective projects and provide educational programs for healthcare professionals that will allow members to better manage the delivery of care in our region; and to foster relationships with other organizations that enhance the delivery of healthcare services.
