Southwest Consulting Associates (SCA) was founded in 1989 to provide financial consulting services to healthcare providers and primarily offers three services:

- 340B Program Integrity Services
- Medicare DSH Reimbursement Services
- S-10 Uncompensated Care Reporting Services

We have over 400 clients nationally in 41 states that have engaged us for one or more of our services.  SCA’s services continue to evolve with ever-changing hospital payment systems and the compliance landscape associated with Medicare DSH, Medicaid DSH, the 340B Drug Pricing Program, uncompensated care funding under the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and other hospital payment system changes.

SCA has also long been at the forefront in providing consulting support to hospitals pursuing Medicare reimbursement that our clients are legally entitled to receive through litigation at the Provider Reimbursement Review Board (PRRB) and in federal court. 

SCA’s is a leader in advocacy efforts on issues of critical importance to our clients and has invested significant time and resources in developing the necessary detailed support required for hospital client appeals, analyzing agency data in support of the legal arguments being advanced, spending countless hours working with attorneys to prepare court filings as well as presenting testimony before the PRRB.

The professional team at SCA strives to meet the needs of our clients in an ever changing environment by providing as-filed cost report support, audit support, regulatory analysis and implementation support and compliance support services in a proactive and collaborative manner. Over the last 25 years, our team of professionals has been chosen by hundreds of hospitals to provide consulting services in the healthcare finance and compliance arenas and the SCA team looks forward to the opportunity to continue our services to the healthcare provider community.
