Sydell Inc., d/b/a Spa Sydell was originally founded in 1982 by Sydell Harris in the Buckhead community of Atlanta, Georgia. The company started as a skin care boutique and quickly grew into a full service day spa encompassing 9 spas by the early 2000's. By August of 2009 and with over 650 employees, the company sought protection and filed chapter 11 reorganization. Fast growth and a failing economy had taken its toll. The company was scaled down to five locations, product lines were streamlined, and a five year plan was put in place. Within two years of having filed, a much leaner and fully reorganized corporation emerged under the leadership of Reina Bermudez, CEO. Sydell Inc., turned its first profit in only 9 months out of bankruptcy and has continued to show profits every year since. Spa Sydell continues the tradition it started in 1982 of excellent skincare with facials, microderms, peels etc. Spa Sydell also offers a wide variety of massage therapies such as pre-natal, hot stone, athletic performance, deep tissue etc. Nail services, waxing services, body wraps, detox, mud & contouring treatments complete the Spa Sydell menu of over 75 health and beauty treatment options. In 2012. the Sydell LUXE brand of dermal fillers and injectables including Botox, Xeomin, Juvederm, Voluma, and Radiesse was introduced. In addition, Sydell LUXE offers Venus Freeze and Venus Legacy products that deliver fast and immediate results for full body skin tightening. These products are administered by our expert medical team and supervised by our in house aesthetic Surgeon. Today, Spa Sydell continues to re-invent itself. In 2015, it will open three new Spas, two in Atlanta and one in Huntsville, Alabama as it unveils the new look of Sydell. In 2016, the vintage spas will be renovated and updated; however, they will continue to have the warm atmosphere and offer the spa experience that clients have always loved.
