Great Lakes Geomatics LLC is a Professional Land Surveying and 3D Laser Scanning firm that has over 30 years of expertise. The company originated as Dunn & Associates in 1987; in 2010 it acquired the land surveying and laser scanning division of METCO Services, Inc. and became Great Lakes Geomatics that same year.
The company was one of the first land surveying firms to maximize the potential of 3D Laser Scanning and point cloud technology since it's been introduced. It specializes in providing Land Surveying and 3D Laser Scanning services throughout the United States and Canada, with a focus on the Southeast Michigan area. Nonetheless, fascinating scanning projects have taken the GLG crew as far as Chile and Greenland.

The company's conventional survey services include ALTA/ACSM Land Title surveys, construction layout and topographic  surveys. The firm has a unique ability to combine its laser Scanning expertise with conventional surveying and thus provide faster, more accurate results.With both a time of flight and phase based scanner, GLG has the flexibility to obtain laser scanning data from long range using the time of flight scanner and close range high speed phase based scanner.
