The Danville Orthopedic Clinic was founded in 1948 by Dr. Prentice Kinser at the Masonic Temple in downtown Danville.  The practice moved to Watson Street, then to South Main Street, and finally to our present location at 125 Executive Dr, Suite A., Danville, Va.  As an independent facility, the Danville Orthopedic Clinic provides the services of Board Certified Physicians and Physician Assistants.  Their skills and knowledge reflect years of specialized training and continuing medical education.  For over 60 years, we have served the Dan River region and surrounding area.  Our reputation for delivering the finest quality health care to our patients was built one patient at a time.  We are proud to be a part of this community.

The treatment focus of Orthopedics involves the diagnosis and treatment of disorders and injuries to bones, joint, tendons, muscles, ligaments and nerves.  We provide Joint Replacement Surgery, Shoulder Surgery, Foot and Ankle Surgery, Sports Medicine, Hand surgery, Arthroscopic Surgery, Bone Densitometry Testing, Rheumatology Medicine(Arthritis), Pain Management, Neurology, Adult and Pediatric Reconstructive Spine Surgery.

It was the goal of the Danville Orthopedic physicians to recruit other highly trained physicians who specialize in the areas of Rheumatology, Pain Management, Neurology and Spine Disorders to provide our patients with a complete muscle skeletal center.
