SpiderSmart Learning Center provides individualized instruction for students of all ages through a network of local centers and online programs. Its tutoring covers core reading and writing skills, mathematics, phonics, spelling, current events, and public speaking, with additional support in biology, chemistry, physics, history, civics, and foreign languages for middle and high school students. The program also prepares learners for a wide range of standardized and state exams, including the SAT, ACT, PSAT/NMSQT, AP exams, SSAT, ISEE, high school entrance tests, CogAT/NNAT, and TOEFL. Founded in 1989 and based in Tysons, Virginia, SpiderSmart operates about 30 centers across Virginia, Maryland, New York, Louisiana, Texas, California, and Ontario, Canada. The organization emphasizes a holistic, whole-child learning approach, with a tailored curriculum and small teacher-to-student ratios designed to foster confidence, independence in thinking, and lifelong learning. In April 2019, SpiderSmart opened a new location in Frisco, Texas, reflecting its ongoing geographic expansion.
