Spokane Civic Theatre is a nonprofit performing arts organization based in Spokane, Washington. It was founded in 1947 and is among the oldest community theatres, with a long-standing focus on public education alongside live theatre. The theatre owns its building and land and operates from a facility that includes two performance spaces: the Main Stage Theatre, with 336 seats, and the Firth J. Chew Studio Theatre, which seats about 85. Behind the scenes, spaces include a scene shop, a costume shop, prop storage, a fully equipped green room, offices, and dressing rooms, supporting volunteer-driven productions. The organization engages the community through productions that aim for a professional level of presentation and has earned attendance milestones and various awards. A notable recent development is Spokane Civic Theatre's participation in the Playwrights' Forum Festival in June 2025, presenting 12 short plays across the Studio Theatre from June 19–22.
