Spokane Regional Clean Air Agency is an environmental services organization charged with enforcing federal, state, and local air standards in Spokane County, Washington. It is one of seven local air pollution control agencies in Washington state, with origins dating to the Spokane County Air Pollution Control Authority formed after the 1967 Clean Air Washington Act. Policy is set and operations are overseen by a five-member Board of Directors. The agency maintains a network of air monitoring stations across Spokane County to assess air quality, including outlying areas. Its work includes registering businesses, inspecting facilities, and providing compliance assistance to reduce emissions from industrial and commercial operations, along with responding to and enforcing complaints. In August 2018 the agency partnered with Spokane Regional Health District to develop an activity graph with recommendations for schools, coaches, and event coordinators in Spokane County.
