Sportful is an Italian sports apparel company with roots dating back to 1946, when the Cremonese family started a spinning mill known as Manifattura Valcismon. The SPORTFUL brand emerged in the 1970s after the founder identified a need for race-specific clothing, and by 1985 the company had shifted into technical cycling apparel as demand for performance garments grew. Positioned in the spectator sports sector, it specializes in high-quality clothing for cycling and other outdoor activities and later expanded its range to include mountain wear under the KARPOS brand launched in 2007.

Its partnerships include technical sponsorship of prominent teams in cycling and cross-country skiing, including national teams from Italy, France, Finland, Spain, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic. The company is based in Fonzaso, Veneto, Italy, and began expanding into foreign markets in 1998, with KARPOS representing a broader outdoor line. In 2025, Sportful announced the Fiandre 2 Jacket and formed a collaboration with Polartec to incorporate new materials for winter apparel.
