SPS Companies, Inc. is a wholesale distributor of products and services for residential and commercial contractors specializing in plumbing, mechanical & industrial piping, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, roofing, sheet metal and fire protection. SPS has three divisions: Plumbing & Heating, Fire Protection, and Roofing & Sheet Metal.

Our Plumbing & Heating division has seven locations: five in Minnesota (Duluth, St. Louis Park, St. Paul, St. Cloud and Mankato), one location in ND (Bismarck), and one in Colorado (Park Supply of Colorado). We also operate our SPS Kitchen and Bath Showrooms (formerly Minnesota Standard Showplace and Dakota Standard Showplace Showrooms) under this division, with showrooms in St. Louis Park, Mankato, and Bismarck.

Our Fire Protection division has seven locations: two which operate as Pipe Fabricators (Maple Grove, MN and Oak Creek, WI) and five as SPS Fire Protection (Howells, NE, Johnston, IA, Davenport, IA, Wichita, KS, and Blue Springs, MO). This division offers products such as pipe fittings, valves, sprinkler heads, pipe hangers, and fire protection accessories.

Our Roofing and Sheet Metal division is located in Newport, MN and operates as SPS Metals, formerly Interstate Manufacturing and Supply. This division is a one stop supplier to professional contractors specializing in roofing, architectural sheet metal and specialty copper since 1977.
