S&S Manufacturing began operation in 1985 after Steven E. Silverman completed 12 successful years at a New York City iron subcontractor. During his time at the iron shop, Steven realized the need for a non-ferrous railing shop equal in quality and service to the iron shops in New York. He set out to become a single source supplier of non-ferrous railings to the construction trade. As a result, we at S&S thoroughly understand what the construction trade needs from a non-ferrous railing vendor: the highest quality product, exceptional service, and competitive pricing. Today, S&S Manufacturing is a highly diversified architectural railing fabrication company specializing in decorative ornamental railings. We offer a wide range of services that include: engineering, shop drawings, field measurements, P.E. stamp and calculations, and fabrication of aluminum, stainless steel, brass, bronze and glass railing systems. S&S also provides a complete range of quality architectural finishes and architectural metalwork, i.e., cornice, trellis, grills, pergola and sun screens. We service the trades in the New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania areas. The majority of this work is new construction of hi-rise apartments, office and mixed use buildings in New York City and Northern New Jersey. We also service Southern New Jersey and the Philadelphia area. The majority of this work is high end brass rails and glass rails for the Atlantic City casinos. We have approximately 50 employees in a 45,000 square foot facility which gives us the ability to fabricate both high end custom aluminum, stainless steel, and glass railing systems as well as large production runs, to meet the customer's needs and exceed their expectations.
