A humble beginning in 1953, a British chemist set out to create an all natural skincare lotion using only locally sourced and grown oils and ingredients.  The first product created was called Founders Reserve, also known today as Cedarwood & Clarysage.  All-natural lotions, shaving cream, post moisturisers and eventually cologne made up the collection.  

In the fall of 2013, Todd Fisher, an American consumer goods executive acquired the trademark and original formulas from 1953.  In the summer of 2014, St James of London was resurrected starting first with the first collection Cedarwood & Clarysage and soon followed by Mandarin & Patchouli.  Since then, St James of London has added Lavender & Geranium, Black Pepper & Lime, Sandalwood & Bergamot, Tonka & Tobacco Flower to their men's collections.  Most recently, the company debuted a new women's Eau de Parfum range in Bologna, Italy.
