St. Vincent de Paul of Lane County, Inc. is a nonprofit organization founded in 1954 and based in Eugene, Oregon. As the largest nonprofit human services organization in Lane County, it pursues a mission to assist the poor and those in need while recognizing the dignity of every individual, with programs aimed at helping people progress toward self-sufficiency. The organization maintains a broad portfolio of programs, including affordable housing development and management—over 1,500 housing units built since 1988 and eight mobile home park restorations across Lane and Multnomah counties. It provides emergency aid and homeless services, such as food boxes, rent and utilities assistance, shelter access, and facilities for restrooms, showers, and laundry, alongside a veterans-focused program assisting transition after treatment and housing. Recycling initiatives and retail operations underpin its work, with more than 37 million pounds of material diverted from landfills in 2019 and thrift stores, a used car lot, and online book sales supporting its programs.
