Star Montessori School and Day Care is an education administration program based in Pasadena, Texas, established in 1988. It operates a child care center offering Montessori-based early education for ages 18 months through 6 years, and provides after-school care for children from nearby elementary schools. The organization emphasizes a secure, well-structured environment, with long-tenured teachers, a 10,000 square foot facility on 4.5 acres of fenced land, and multiple safety features including video surveillance and emergency exits in every room. Classrooms are designed to support individualized attention and development, with small class sizes and age-appropriate resources; each classroom also includes a computer to support learning, and the student-to-teacher ratio is described as surpassing state requirements. The service aims to address parents’ concerns about safety and educational progress by offering ongoing documentation of each child’s development and daily activities for families to review.
