A tremor is an involuntary shake in the limbs.  Over 30 million people worldwide with Parkinson’s Disease, essential tremor and other tremor disorders have trouble in daily life due to tremors.
Even though a tremor itself is harmless, it causes serious difficulties with activities in daily life, such as eating and drinking. 
Up to this day there is no cure and current treatment to suppress tremor either is ineffective, or very invasive.

STIL developed a new treatment for tremors: the STIL orthosis. We integrated a specialized damping technology in an orthosis, that suppressed the shakes, but still allows all voluntary movement. In this way, our medical device provides instant relief.
