Stomping Ground Comedy Theater is Dallas’ only nonprofit theater dedicated entirely to comedy (and to using laughter as a force for good). Since opening in 2017, we’ve been on a mission to connect people through the power of improv, stand-up, sketch, and storytelling.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, every class, show, and program we offer supports our core values of Outreach, Inclusion, and Collaboration. Our team of producers, performers, and instructors believes that comedy can change lives, build confidence, and strengthen communities.

Through our Improv for Work corporate workshops, we partner with organizations to enhance teamwork, communication, and creativity, helping companies invest in their people while supporting the local arts community.

We also provide a full slate of adult, teen, and kids comedy classes and performance opportunities. Improv for Life, our innovative mental wellness and social-emotional learning program, serves individuals with autism, anxiety, and caregivers—offering joy, connection, and belonging where it’s needed most.
