Stone Barns Center for Food & Agriculture is a nonprofit farm and education center located in the Hudson Valley, in Tarrytown, New York. Since 2004, its mission has been to catalyze an ecological food culture by advancing ecological farming practices and mindful food choices that benefit health, communities, and the environment. Its campus is shared with the partner restaurant Blue Hill at Stone Barns, serving as a focal point where farmers, chefs, diners, educators, and artisans collaborate to advance sustainable farming and eating. The center functions as a hub for learning and collaboration across the food system, offering programs and experiences for community members and industry professionals. In 2021, Stone Barns Center launched a series of garden kits to support community learning and at-home gardening, illustrating its approach to practical education.
