From superheroes to undersea adventures, princesses to dinosaurs, Storytown takes you on an interactive, fully improvised adventure! We use your suggestions and ideas to create a different story every week. Kids design the setting and help shape the story, and our actors, artists, and musicians bring it to life! When the possibilities are endless, no two stories are ever the same. We’ll see you in Storytown! Storytown is a fully improvised show put on by our “Townies” for you and your family. Performed every Saturday at 10:30 at Stage 773 – you will be laughing right along with your kids. This is not just any old improv show! Sure you’ll giggle and be awed by the talent of our actors – but there’s more! Once our audience members give us the suggestions we need to create our special story, we have other elements that bring it to life! We have very talented musicians who provide accompaniment for our actors. From spooky songs to merry melodies, our musicians provide it – ON THE SPOT! What story would be complete without a setting? While the actors create a story, and the musicians provide the tunes, our team of artists (with help from the audience) create not only a backdrop and setting, but props for the story as it evolves! Cookie-eating ghosts, house hats and giant quarters are just some of the things you may see our artists create.
