Strategic Automation Services provides control system solutions for plant expansions, system upgrades, and new facilities. We offer services to scope and document project requirements, develop system architecture, procure and assemble system components, design and configure regulatory, advanced, and safety controls, support system installation, startup & commissioning, and train operations and support staff on the use and maintenance of the new/modified system. In addition to designing and implementing basic regulatory process controls, we also implement advanced control strategies. These advanced controls are often configured within the DCS environment, making it easier for client staff to support. Examples of some of the advanced controls we have delivered include: Heater Pass Balance, Fired Heater Combustion control, Industrial Boiler Combustion control, Advanced Level control, Three Element Steam Drum Level control, and Compressor Control (Anti-surge, Performance control, Load Balancing for Multiple Compressors, Automated Start/Stop Based on Load). On many occasions, we can improve process performance by tuning existing controls, or by modifying existing controls to better respond to process dynamics.
