In 1990, our founders, Jennell Evans and David Swink, started Strategic Interactions, Inc. (SI) with one Mac Plus computer and an unwavering belief that they could make a difference in the corporate world by pioneering a new way for people to learn leadership skills. Their innovative approach of using live, Interactive Behavioral Simulations™ was, and continues to be, a unique and highly effective alternative to traditional role-play techniques. Today, SI's professional services are identified as follows: 1. Leadership Simulation Programs - Half-day to full day experiential skill development sessions 2. 60 Minute Series - One-hour, highly interactive presentations about workplace issues 3. Violence Prevention Programs - Training that increases workplace and university safety 4. Leadership Minds & Matters™ - Presentations and programs that teach leaders about mindfulness and meditation practices that improve their well-being, while positively impacting their employees and their entire work cultures. SI has intentionally remained a boutique-size consultancy to focus on client engagements with the greatest impact. SI’s team of talented professionals holds advanced degrees in either psychology, human resources, social work, organizational development, and/or law. They are experts in facilitation, group dynamics and the subject matter that they teach. In 2016, SI continues to work with stellar clients who believe that investing in their employees’ professional development creates not only more productive people, but also healthier and more engaged work cultures. For SI's staff, the collaborations with clients that positively impact their work cultures are what provide them with a deep sense of fulfillment and satisfaction. SI values giving back to the communities in which its staff works. SI provides pro-bono services to several nonprofits each year throughout the U.S. and staff volunteer with organizations such as Musicians On Call every month.
