Structural Engineering Group, LLC was established in Tallahassee, Florida in February of 2018. Though we are a recently formed company, our Structural Engineering Professionals have the resources, experience and will work diligently to meet the needs of our private and public-sector clients. Our core business is providing engineering design and preparation of construction documents for commercial and institutional projects to Architectural Firms. Structural Engineering Group, LLC specializes in providing planning, design, and construction administration services in the area of Structural Engineering for commercial, educational, government, health care, mixed-use, parking, residential, retail, renovations, and sporting facility projects.  

Structural Engineering Group's Professionals are Licensed Special / Threshold Inspectors in the state of Florida and routinely provide inspection services to clients in the private and public sector. A Threshold building is defined by the Florida Building Code as a structure over three stories or 50 feet tall or assembly seating for over 500 people. The responsibilities of a Special / Threshold Inspector include reviewing concrete reinforcing steel for foundations, beams, columns, slabs, and shear walls, reviewing concrete placement, reviewing concrete masonry reinforcing and placement of grout, reviewing steel structures and their connections, and reviewing timber structures and connections during construction. 

Prior to the design and renovation to an existing facility, Structural Engineering Group has provided Condition Assessment Reports to identify potential areas of concern within a structure. These reports help to prepare the Owner, Architect, and Engineer for potential problems prior to starting the design phase of a project.
