Studio Acting Conservatory unites a diverse community of like-minded individuals to unleash their full creative potential through quality, rigorous, and time-honored training. The Conservatory also serves as a bridge to the broader world of theater to maintain current and continued best-in-class training for the modern actor.

Noted by Variety and Washingtonian Magazine, Studio Acting Conservatory is the premier training institution for actors and directors in Washington D.C.

For over 40 years, 10,000 alumni have gone on to important theatre and film careers. The Conservatory is led by a 20-member faculty of committed professionals who teach 500 students— of every age and background—each year. The Conservatory also serves disadvantaged DC communities through a scholarship program that provides a theater curriculum for talented young people. Half of these students are on a full scholarship.
