Sumika Polymer Compounds Europe Ltd is a medium-sized plastics manufacturer based in Havant, England, specializing in polypropylene compounds. As a subsidiary of Sumitomo Chemical, it has a multi-decade track record in developing high-quality formulations and aligning them with current and evolving market needs. The company provides more than material supply, offering technical support to help customers execute demanding projects and achieve reliable performance. It positions itself as a collaborative partner to both customers and suppliers, aiming to build durable, responsible relationships throughout the supply chain. Its history traces back to 1950, when it produced its first granules, and it has since expanded its capabilities, including a second recycling unit. In May 2026, Sumika Europe announced the launch of an extra-low fogging recycled polypropylene reinforced with recycled materials for automotive applications.
