Superior Sales operates as a produce wholesaler and brand, supplying a range of fruits and vegetables across seven states. The company handles sourcing, shipping, and sales, and provides packaging for private-label programs as well as its own Superior label. These capabilities support product presentation and consistency for its customers. Based in Hudsonville, Michigan, the company maintains a small to mid-sized workforce and serves multiple regions through its network.

Tracing its roots to 1918, the business began as a Michigan grower and shipper of vegetables, with celery a primary focus for the Blauwkamp family. Superior Sales, Inc. was founded in 1993, and a distribution center followed in 1994 to broaden service options. The company later expanded with Superior Sales West, Inc., headquartered in Monterey, California, with additional sales offices in San Antonio, Walla Walla, Nogales, and a Budd Lake office and Texas warehouse. In 2013 the Michigan operation reported an environmental savings record tied to recycling and conservation, and in 2010 the organization donated over 125,000 pounds of produce to Feeding America West Michigan Food Bank.
