SurgeX operates in the computers and electronics manufacturing landscape with a focus on power protection and quality. Based in Waukegan, Illinois, it provides systems designed to deliver clean electricity to electronic equipment to improve reliability and reduce service burdens. The company highlights Advanced Series Mode technology that eliminates surge energy up to 6,000V without causing ground contamination or common-mode disturbances.

Its products integrate surge elimination with EMI/RFI filtration and analytical software to help customers manage power-grid instability and minimize downtime, error codes, lockups, and reboots. Its target customers span AV and other electronics deployments where reliable power infrastructure is critical, including installations that require remote monitoring and cloud solutions. In May 2023, Liberty Cable announced a partnership with SurgeX to broaden access to power management solutions, signaling ongoing distribution and support in the market.
