The Sustainable Investment Institute (Si2) conducted impartial research and published reports on organized efforts to influence corporate behavior on social and environmental issues.  We closely followed shareholder resolutions proposed by investor activists, analyzing the changing campaigns and identifying key points of contention in reports that enabled institutional investors to make informed, independent decisions about their votes on shareholder proposals, and about their corporate engagement efforts.  In addition to these educational materials for members, SI2 published reports for the interested public on emerging issues of corporate and investor responsibility.  SI2 was primarily supported by its members.  We operated from 2010 until 2024.
