SVOLT is a sister company of GWM and is part of Baoding Great Wall Holding, which is also a shareholder of GWM. The Chinese company is headquartered in Changzhou, a city in the southern Jiangsu Province. SVOLT Energy Technology (Europe) GmbH emerged in 2019, spreading its wings and landing in the beating heart of Europe. Headquarters of the European subsidiary is Frankfurt am Main. President SVOLT Europe & Vice President SVOLT Energy Technology is Mr. Kai-Uwe Wollenhaupt. SVOLT in general is now among the top 10 global manufacturers of automotive batteries.
