Brand History: The Troentorp clog is  the clog that started it all.  August Johansson was the first cobbler to hand-craft an orthopedic Swedish style clog for commercial sales in Europe. He started his little company, Troentorps Sko in 1907 near Båstad Sweden.  Troentorp clogs were under the name Bastad Clogs in the 1970’s and were the “it” shoe during that time. Today, its cult-like followers appreciate the hand craftsmanship, sustainable efforts and the comfort of the original, wooden clog!
