Sweeping Corporation of America, Inc. was founded in Nashville, TN on March 15,1988 with one (1) street sweeper. Currently, SCA sweeps 25,000 miles per month, or a 10 foot wide path around the world twelve times each year. We utilize over one hundred state-of-the-art street sweepers, sewer cleaners, and other support equipment daily across eight southeastern states. Our customer list includes state departments of transportation, cities, counties, airports, large industries, construction companies as well as special event venues. All SCA operational and maintenance employees undergo a pre-hire physical including a drug screen and MVR check, and they are well well-trained in equipment operation and maintenance. Street sweeping is listed by the EPA as a "Best Management Practice" (BMP) in their effort to meet Phase 2 storm water regulations.
