Swoop Search is a technology company based in Madison, Wisconsin, focused on rethinking how information is discovered on the web. By visualizing the web as an interactive map, it aims to place the user at the center of the search process and give people greater control over how results are produced and presented.

Founded in 2011 by Paul, Michael, and Quinn, the company was created to redesign search for the evolving social web. Its vision centers on a visual search space—the SwoopSpace—that could become pervasive across the web, offering a more transparent view of search results and reducing the opacity of algorithmic ranking.
