All test methods are based on Australian Standards or recognised international references (e.g. AOAC, AOCS, AACC, APHA, USEPA). Symbio is also a Department of Agriculture (AQIS) appointed analyst for imported foods testing and is listed by the National Residue Survey for testing of residues for a number of programs across in meat, grains, fruit and vegetables. As a Quarantine Approved premises, Symbio’s Brisbane laboratory can accept samples from international customers looking for testing in an Australian accredited laboratory.

Our laboratories have implemented wide-ranging internal proficiency programs and participate in a large number of external proficiency programs to ensure a high level of accuracy and service is delivered to clients. Laboratories located regionally and in capital cities across Australia, each of which operates according to the guidelines set out in ISO/IEC/17025 and are NATA accredited for a wide range of tests.
