Founded in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in 1981, we have grown steadily in size, offerings, and geography. In 2022, Symbiont joined forces with Mead & Hunt, a full-service, national engineering, planning, and architecture firm, to obtain a larger platform to serve current and future clients. Founded in 1900, Mead & Hunt has been serving diverse markets nationwide for more than 120 years. Our core business includes several key markets, including water/wastewater, food and beverage, renewable natural gas, federal, and state and local government. We have more than 1,200 team members, located in more than 40 offices nationwide, including a fabrication shop that preassembles engineered equipment and ships to sites across the nation. Our full-service team includes engineers, hydrogeologists, architects, construction project managers, environmental compliance specialists, GIS analysts, and technicians.
