Synaffix BV is a Netherlands-based biotechnology company developing a proprietary antibody-drug conjugate platform at the clinical stage with the goal of delivering ADCs that offer improved safety and efficacy. Validated by licensing deals totaling well over $7.6 billion with partners such as ADC Therapeutics, Mersana Therapeutics, Shanghai Miracogen, Innovent Biologics, ProfoundBio and Kyowa Kirin, the platform has generated more than 20 ADCs in development, including five in early clinical trials. The company can rapidly generate best-in-class ADCs from any antibody, supported by a patent portfolio protecting its proprietary processes and resulting products through at least 2039. Beyond ADCs, its technology is being applied to multi-billion-dollar markets such as immune cell engagers and targeted gene therapy. The firm, based in Amsterdam, Netherlands, was acquired by Lonza in May 2023. In January 2026, Synaffix announced a multi-target licensing agreement with Sidewinder Therapeutics to develop first-in-class bispecific ADCs for solid tumors.
