SportsOntario, Canada0-1 Employees

Synchro Canada acts as the national governing body for synchronized swimming in Canada, based in Ottawa, Ontario. It coordinates the sport across the country by representing ten provincial associations, one territorial association, roughly 150 clubs, and about 12,000 members. The organization is a member of FINA, the international federation governing aquatic sports. It operates with a small staff and focuses on developing athletes, citizens, and ambassadors of the sport at multiple levels.

Within the spectator sports landscape, it provides governance and development pathways for participants from grassroots through competitive levels, coordinating activities across its member organizations. A notable 2018 development was the launch of an entry-level aquatic literacy program called AquaGO, alongside a branding refresh.
