The Syracuse Symphony Orchestra is a mid-sized performing arts organization based in Syracuse, New York, serving the Central and Northern New York State region. Founded in 1961 as a community orchestra, it evolved into a fully professional resident ensemble that presents both full-orchestra and chamber performances. The orchestra comprises about 80 musicians and maintains an international-caliber conducting staff, supporting a diverse concert program across the region.
