Takeuchi Mfg. (U.S.) Ltd is a U.S.-based subsidiary in the construction equipment sector, located at 519 Bonnie Valentine Way, Pendergrass, Georgia 30567. The company was established in 1979 and was among the first to bring quality compact excavators and track loaders to the U.S. construction equipment market. Over the years it expanded seven times and operates a 250,000-square-foot training, parts and machine distribution facility on 34 acres in Valentine Industrial Park near Atlanta, Georgia. The company employs between 201 and 500 staff. Takeuchi Mfg. Co., Ltd., established in 1963 in Nagano, Japan, produced the world's first compact excavator in 1971 and introduced North America's first compact rubber track loader in 1986.
