Mathematically lossless Codecs. Pixspan has developed algorithms and software specific to different image types for maximum lossless compression at the fastest available speed. These high-performance algorithms are based on techniques that take a completely new approach than the industry standard JPEG’s twenty-year-old methods that rely on Wavelets and/or Discreet Cosine Transform (DCT).
