About Us
Tara is a 501 (C)(3)  not-for-profit organization helping people to recover from alcoholism and drug addiction since 1985. We offer a multi-faceted approach to recovery, blending the disease concept model and AA/NA 12-Step Programs with various modes of therapy, education, life skills development and health promoting activities in a residential setting. Tara continues to provide 30 days or more of residential treatment followed by a recommended 60 to 90 days of supportive, transitional residential living. No other facility in central Indiana offers this standard level of care.
