Tata Steel is a globally diversified integrated steel producer with a capacity of 35 million tonnes per annum, operating across India, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, and Thailand. The company has stated aims to achieve Net Zero emissions by 2045 and is advancing low-emission production, including a 0.75 MTPA electric arc furnace-based facility in Ludhiana and a transition to an electric arc furnace route in the UK, following the decommissioning of heavy-end assets in 2024. Tata Steel has been active in capital investments to support decarbonisation, including projects in Port Talbot, United Kingdom, as part of its broader transition plan and engagement in the IJmuiden transition.
