TATRA TRUCKS a.s. is a world-famous producer of heavy-duty vehicles. TATRA TRUCKS builds on a rich, over 120-year long history of vehicle development and production.

All TATRA vehicles are unique thanks to the so-called “Tatra concept of chassis”. A robust chassis gives TATRA vehicles unbelievable powers when passing through the toughest terrain in extreme climatic conditions whether they are bitter arctic frosts or high desert temperatures. Reliability, high quality of production, great utility features, modern cabins and fuel-efficient power units, all of them are part of every TATRA car.

There are 4 model lines in current TATRA TRUCKS production program. The civil sector is represented by the TATRA PHOENIX and TATRA TERRA models. Special and defensive projects are represented by the TATRA FORCE and TATRA TACTIC series. As part of the development and customer requirements, TATRA vehicles are constantly being upgraded and equipped with state-of-the-art, environment-friendly and cost-effective technologies. TATRA has a great advantage in high level of human potential not only in development but also in production. 

Since its establishment, TATRA has been based in the town of Kopřivnice in the eastern part of the Czech Republic. Also in the same city is a subsidiary of TATRA METALURGIE a.s., which is engaged in manufacturing of castings and forgings for engineering applications in many European countries.

TATRA TRUCKS a.s. is a partner of many cultural and sporting events. The company works closely with major museums of technology in which visitors can learn about long and rich history of the brand and its products, among which are not only freight and passenger cars, but also, for example, buses, wagons, aircraft, engines and other means of transport.
