Products include cash flow and asset-based loans utilized for growth capital, acquisitions, buyouts and refinancings. TCF Capital Funding was started in 2012 and we have completed over 60 transactions with over $750 million in commitments. Prior to forming TCF Capital Funding, this experienced deal team worked together for more than five years at another financial institution. During this period, our team completed more than $600 million in commitments working directly with companies and also with more than 30 different lower middle market private equity sponsors nationwide. Today we retain our long-term commitment and focus on providing leveraged loans exclusively to the lower middle market with a typical hold size of $10 to $25 million.
