Team Nelson is a government recognized non-profit organization that works to send Tanzanian orphans to school. Many of us have grown up in areas where education is a right, not a privilege. We are expected to learn how to read, write, and ultimately integrate into society. However, such is not the case in Tanzania. Most children can only dream of having access to even a basic education. Here at Team Nelson, we believe in the pursuit of happiness through education. Our mission is to send orphaned and underprivileged children to school where they will receive not only a great education, but also access to basic healthcare needs and nutritious food. Most importantly, they will be surrounded by love and security. Our singular purpose is to ensure that each and every one of these children knows that they are not alone and they are not forgotten. We want the Team Nelson children to know that they are part of a team and that we are all in this together, working towards a brighter future.
