Technology Applications, Inc. (TAI) is the World's Top Copper & Graphite Thermal Strap Provider.  Our straps are built to the highest quality demanded by NASA, ESA, & JAXA, but are affordable even on modest university, national lab, or commercial electronics budgets.

We make straps made of OFHC copper, and our own GraFlex™ graphite.  Our copper straps are the most affordable straps commercially available, and are offered in standard / off the shelf configurations. While they are commonly used in space, they are more often used in lab & electronics applications, given their mass and low cost.

If your program requires low mass AND a large degree of heat transfer, our graphite thermal straps are your solution. While more expensive, the average graphite thermal strap assembly weighs in at 1/4-1/10 the mass of an equivalent aluminum or copper strap, and they provide unique vibration attenuation/damping capabilities.

Unlike some strap suppliers, TAI will never outsource your straps to machine shops. All of our straps are assembled at our facility, by our experts.

If for any reason, we cannot manufacture a strap meeting your requirements, we are happy to recommend a reputable supplier (like SDL); which not only has flight heritage (like TAI), but does not fraudulently claim to manufacture their own straps.
