The Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) is a trade organization in the telecommunications sector focused on advancing trusted digital infrastructure for a connected world. It represents more than 400 companies globally and coordinates work across standards development, government advocacy, certifications, and industry programs to support resilient, innovative infrastructure. The organization is an Illinois-based nonprofit (501(c)(6)) accredited by ANSI and operates out of Arlington, Virginia. Its membership includes ICT and digital infrastructure manufacturers and suppliers, network and data center operators, service enablers, engineering firms, and system integrators. By linking industry with government, TIA supports the development of standards, advocacy, certifications, and programs that help sustain reliable and innovative digital infrastructure. In August 2025, TIA and Questex launched Broadband Nation, a nationwide initiative focused on career development, a national brand campaign, and academic partnerships.
