The Tennessee Health Care Campaign is a statewide non-partisan, non-profit patient advocacy organization with a 22-year history of successfully working with diverse community groups, committed volunteers and broad coalitions towards practical solutions to the problems of health care access in Tennessee. Our vision is simple: All Tennesseans deserve access to affordable, high-quality health care. The strategies for achieving this vision are three-fold: 1) direct social service work to help people in need find health care coverage, safety-net services or charity care; 2) community outreach and public education about state and federal health care policy, resources, public programs, and systems of care; and 3) advocacy through coalition building and policy work. THCC works in collaboration with advocacy groups, affected constituents, community leaders, and policymakers – from grassroots to grasstops – to influence positive change in public health and health care.
