Tentmakers Bible Mission, Inc., or TBM, is a faith mission.  It is committed to facilitate the planting and nurturing of independent, Bible-believing, evangelical churches throughout the world.  TBM focuses on these four distinctives:  
1.  TBM reduces the time missionaries spend in deputation by encouraging missionaries to use   their "tentmaking" skills as a means of supplemental support and by allocating 100% of designated gifts to each missionary's ministry project.  
2. TBM helps the sending church remain involved with its missionary's church planting efforts. 
3. TBM operates its home office with volunteer or missionary staff and uses donations to a separate General Fund to pay for office overhead associated with visiting  and supervising missionaries, thus allowing TBM to not charge administrative fees to its missionaries.  
4.  TBM allows foreign nationals to become missionaries and plant churches in their home countries.
