TerraCore, based in Reno, Nevada, provides infrared drill core imaging services and image processing solutions for geological applications. By capturing mineralogical data from drill cores and building a digital library of client archives, the company supports detailed interpretation of mineral composition. Its mobile imaging platforms are designed to operate across sites from laboratories to remote exploration camps, imaging samples ranging from full cores to chips and hand specimens.

The spectral data generated can be integrated with geophysical and geochemical logs to support geometallurgy, orebody modeling, and alteration modeling, among other workflows. Data can be exported into common 3D modeling software to fit existing client pipelines. TerraCore has processed over 1.5 million meters of drill core for mining, governmental, and academic clients across Africa, the Americas, Australia, and Scandinavia, and ALS has named it a technology partner for hyperspectral imaging.
