Texas Tamale Company's mission is to spread the Tex-Mex love, one frozen tamale at a time! The company aims to reshape how customers view the frozen section by providing tasty, convenient, and healthier choices with our gluten-free and lard-free tamales.

Texas Tamale Company was born in a local street cart in 1985 to create a homemade, lard-free tamale recipe that could be enjoyed by native Houstonians, to then being introduced to the U.S. market! In recent decades, they have grown into a nationally distributed brand. The New York Times and the Houston Chronicle have given rave reviews, and Texas Monthly Magazine named their tamales among the 'best mail-order tamales in Texas and store-bought brands!' With steadfast support from their customers ranging from NYC to Seattle and down to Miami, Texas Tamale Company has various products that they offer today, including its six iconic flavorful packed tamales found in the freezer aisle in stores and their assortment of tamales, sauces, jellies, and side dishes online!
